You are receiving this email because you signed up to our newsletter at a live gig with The Jake Leg Jug Band or at a Warren James concert, we thank you for supporting live roots music and to all promoters and venues who host us – we hope to be coming to a venue near to you soon. These are our May 2025 fixtures. Please keep supporting live gigs, remember, this time 5 years ago we all craved a social life, let’s not be the generation who made live music vanish – GIG LIST BELOW!

Hi everyone, Warren here with an update on our whereabouts

Well it really doesn’t seem like 5 months ago since I wished you all a happy new year and I told you all to wrap up warm – but it has been – and on the road this week we’ve had the sun cream out – proof that we can get a bit of summer here in the United Kingdoms.

In 5 months I have reached my 67th gig of the year, and we’ve barely got started.

The Jake Leg Jug Band have released their live album, whilst Duncan & Warren, from the the band will be launching their debut concert The Great American Folk Songbook at this years Filey Folk Festival as well as LOADS MORE concerts up and down the UK.

Baby Jools & The Jazzaholics have announced our appearance at this years Riverboat Festival in Denmark.

Warren James launched The Johnny Cash Songbook theatre show, whilst his Lonnie Donegan Story concerts continue to be popular in jazz clubs, blues clubs and country music venues – as does his Story of Skiffle show and his Hit Parade Heroes concert celebrating the stars of the 50s & 60s.

So far, so good, this year seems to be a most positive one musically – and no true entertainer can do it without a supportive audience LONG MAY IT CONTINUE!

Gig listing and a few videos and pictures below – see you along the way!
