This week I will be performing with The Jake Leg Jug Band in Carlisle this week
Thursday 23 May at CARLISLE JAZZ CLUB – 8.30pm – to be held at Carlisle Rugby Club. http://www.carlislejazzclub.co.uk
Then on Friday 24th May I am performing this special event – The Lonnie Donegan Story at New Oscott Village, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, B23 5LD – I will be joined by New Orleans drumming legend, Baby Jools… West End musical bassist, Jim Swinnerton… and my pal from the Jake Leg Jug Band, Liam Ward will join us on Harmonica.
Doors open at 7pm – tickets are £9 and the venue has a full bar and dance floor… If you are near or in Sutton Coldfield then please come along and join us, you’ll have a great night hearing about the man who launched British pop music and brought American folk and blues music to our shores in the mid 50s.
